2019 China-Germany-Austria Postgraduates Seminar

On October 10th, the 2019 Chnia-Germany-Austria Postgraduate Seminar was  successfully held. The conference was organized by the School of  Materials and Metallurgy, The State Key Laboratory of Refractory and  Metallurgy, National-provincial Joint Engineering Research Center of  High Temperature Materials and Lining Technology, and the Graduate  School and the Office of International Exchange was co-organizer.

There  are 14 reports in this conference, the report content includes the  composition of refractory materials, the relationship between structure  and performance, the preparation and surface modification of porous  materials for melt filtration, the characterization of fracture  behavior, the mechanism of cement hydration process, and the creep  parameters of refractory materials. Statistical analysis, oxidation  behavior of non-oxide materials and its application in refractories

The holding of the Seminar provides  a broader exchange platform for participants, and allows more foreign  scholars and students to have a deeper understanding of Wuhan University  of Science and Technology, and enhances our reputation and influence in  the international academic community of refractories.
